Book Talk: The Jewish Hospital
Join the Sandra Bornstein Holocaust Education Center and Miriam Hospital for a special author talk on a powerful new book on Tuesday, June 2, at 7 pm.
The Jewish Hospital is a historical novel inspired by a Jewish hospital in Nazi Berlin, where physicians and nurses were forced to navigate impossible moral choices within a system designed to destroy human life. In his presentation, the author explores how these extreme circumstances illuminate ethical questions that remain deeply relevant to medicine and caregiving today.
The author frequently presents at hospitals and Holocaust education centers, bringing together history, ethics, and lived experience in a way that speaks to both medical professionals and the broader community.
