Leadership Institute for Teens (LIFT)

The Leadership Institute for Teens (LIFT) is a program for students in grades 9-12, partially funded by the Jordan Tanenbaum and Harold Winstead Family Fund.

Participants learn important lessons of the Holocaust, and other genocides, as well as human rights issues. They will also participate in leadership training workshops and group bonding. This program will build a safe space for students to explore dark parts of history while developing the skills to articulate their opinions on pressing social issues. At the end of the program, participants will be able to inspire their fellow teens to stand up for those who have been marginalized.

Applications are open for the 2025-2026 school year.

Sign up to participate in Warwick or Providence. Meets two evenings/month. Dinner is provided.
