Holocaust Diaries: Memory, Testimony, and History
Lecture by Professor Alexandra Garbarini, Williams College
Join us as we mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a lecture by Professor Alexandra Garbarini, whose pioneering work on Holocaust diaries explores how Jewish victims recorded, interpreted, and survived the experience of persecution. Drawing on her scholarship on Numbered Days, Lucien Dreyfus’s diary, and the role of testimony, Professor Garbarini will reflect on how these writings illuminate the history of the Holocaust and the enduring power of memory.
Free and open to the public
