LIFT Program

The LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE FOR TEENS (LIFT) of the Sandra Bornstein Holocaust
Education Center
is a program for students from grades 9 to 12, partially funded by the Jordan Tannenbaum and Harold Winsten Family Fund

Applications now open for our Fall 2023 session!

Participants will learn the important lessons of the Holocaust, along with other genocides and human rights issues, and will participate in leadership training workshops and group bonding. This program will build a safe space for students to explore dark parts of history while developing the skills to articulate their opinions on pressing social issues. At the end of program, participants should want to inspire their fellow teens to stand up for those who have been marginalized.

We will meet 1 to 2 times per month for 2 hours from October 2023 – April 2024.
