DESCRIPTION:Holocaust Diaries: Memory\, Testimony\, and History Lecture by Professor Alexandra Garbarini\, Williams College \n\n\n\nDue to the snowstorm and in the interest of everyone’s safety\, our International Holocaust Remembrance Day program on Sunday\, January 25 at 6:00 pm will now take place on Zoom rather than in person. \n\n\n\nWe appreciate your understanding as we make this change to ensure the safety of our community. \n\n\n\nTo receive the Zoom link by email\, please fill out the registration form. For security reasons\, we kindly ask that the Zoom link not be shared. This helps us maintain a safe and respectful space for learning and remembrance. \n\n\n\nWe will mark International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a lecture by Professor Alexandra Garbarini\, whose pioneering scholarship on Holocaust diaries explores how Jewish victims recorded\, interpreted\, and survived the experience of persecution. Drawing on her work on Numbered Days\, Lucien Dreyfus’s diary\, and the role of testimony\, Professor Garbarini will reflect on how these writings illuminate the history of the Holocaust and the enduring power of memory. \n\n\n\nWe hope you will be able to join us virtually for this meaningful evening of reflection and learning. \n\n\n\nFree and open to the public
